| Tullamore is famous for its Whiskey, Tullamore
Dew, named after its maker, Daniel E Williams, and for its Irish Mist Liqueur.
Although whiskey is no longer distilled in Tullamore, the Tullamore Dew
Heritage recounts the town's development and the role played by the distilling
industry. The Centre is located in the 1897 warehouse on the banks of the
canal and the exhibition is interesting and varied in it presentations -
you are invited to dress in period costumes, to watch bees making honey
for Irish Mist Liqueur, hear the traditional songs sung on barges and lots
